The Seven World Ages—An Esoteric-Occult Overview of the Spiritual Growth of Humanity Through a Series of Forgotten Civilizations

After our Soul Influx arrived on Earth in its Ball of Golden Light eighteen million years ago, we and billions of other personalities who separated from it have since been passing through seven major World Ages. These Ages first evolved gradually, but with each passing of the millennia the time of growth has been greatly speeded up.

The First Age was called Pw Ly Ry or sometimes remembered as Polaria. It was centered mainly in what is now Antarctica at a time before it was covered with ice, from 18 to 8 million years ago. Very little remains of this Age except for a few artifacts in South America, South Africa, India, New Zealand, Australia and on the southern ocean bottoms.

The Age of Polaria is the most remote time period from our present day, and undoubtedly for us is the most enigmatic. This was the Age of Incarnation, when our Soul Influx was learning to enter materiality upon the Earth.

Once this Collective Soul Infusion was accomplished, the next major goal was the Perfection of the Basic Form, which in that distant era was a proto-human hominid hybrid creation.

This was the time-frame when Humanity was working with the Earth Mother to develop an efficient physical vehicle into which the individual soul spirits of the Influx could incarnate and function on the material level. The simian primate form was the most evolutionary advanced animal in this period, and for a time it was specifically bred and experimented with. This earliest form’s remains will one day be unearthed far beneath the now glaciated regions of the Southern Continent.

Such "proto-human" fossils as Pithecanthropus, Australopithecus, Zinthanthropus, Sinanthropus and many others yet to be unearthed were the offspring remains of these earliest experiments.

The first Polarians had the ability to work in both the Spiritual and Physical Realms simultaneously, being able to bring etheric structures directly into manifestation. They thus had a special relationship with the Angelic Kingdom of the Earth who maintain the spiritual-etheric frameworks of the planet.

The predominant Meta-Creative Language the Polarians were skilled in was Essence and Identity. Their Philosophical Construct involved the Symbolic POINT and SERIES OF POINTS, out of which the Invisible is Made Real. Their Vibrational Signature consisted of PURE TONES utilized for intensely focusing the Manifestation process. Modern examples that approach the Pure Toning of the Old Ones can still be found in certain Tibetan singular chanting and in Tahitian atonal choral music.

The Polarians' Power Source was centered in Angelic and Cosmic Energies brought into existence out of the etheric by Manifested Transference. By similar means Polarian architecture and building techniques concentrated on the spontaneous creation out of the etheric of titanic mono-form material structures, completely naturalistic in appearance yet serving a human-oriented sacred function. Examples of such Polarian structural forms can be seen today in New Zealand and Australia.

In the approximately ten million years of their duration, the Polarians went through many phases of growth, many cycles of expansion and destruction. Their overall lesson was in focusing on the development of the Self, to transform and transmute the physical form to a level of perfection.

However, rather than exploring and appreciating the diversity of the physical form, they eventually demanded conformity to one form only.

For most of their long history the Polarians, speaking Divine Self to Divine Self, never progressed beyond developing increasingly larger Communities of Collective Consciousness. Toward the end of their existence, however, these First Ancestors became obsessed with dictating the absolute Conformity of the Human Form, and fell headlong into Spiritual Enslavement and Spiritual Warfare.

They sought to entrap all discarnate souls into physical bodies of their choosing, misusing the powers of manifestation to call down souls into body vehicles against their wills, and in violation of the Divine and Planetary Wills.

This disastrous situation also expanded to include entrapping Angelic beings, demanding allegiances and forcing them to abuse their co-creative powers. The old stories of a "battle in heaven" and the "fall of angels" have their origin from this remote period.

Eventually their abuse of spiritual powers was so great the Polarians destroyed themselves.

Today the Unresolved Karmic Residue from the horrors by which the Polarians succumbed are still with us, seen in our recent history in the Nazi concentration camps of World War II, the South African apartheid cruelties and Cambodian genocide of the last century, and in the practice of mass imprisonment, torture and forced labor still going on in certain parts of our world today.

More than this, in everyday life certain unresolved Polarian issues are still present as a strong undercurrent involved with physical matters. One can see old Polarian karmic patterns in obsessive behavior regarding diet and health fads, physical fitness, plastic surgery, cosmetics and clothing fashions.

Deeper still are issues concerning abortion, contraceptives, artificial insemination, test tube babies, "designer children" and genetic engineering.

And in its darker aspects the death of Polaria is still being re-enacted through modern advocacy of prejudice, racism and genocide.

After the end of Polaria, the Second World Age—acting as a dual opposite to the First—was A-Briya or Hyperborea, situated in what is now the Arctic areas of Greenland, northern Canada, Spitzbergen, Novaya Zemlya and Scandinavia, lasting from 8 to 1 million years ago.

Our old Norse legends of Asgard, Valhalla, Numinor and Ultima Thule are distant memories of these prehistoric days.

Not only the Norse legends, but even much of what we are today familiar with as "fantasy fiction" is not really fantasy or fiction—they are memories our modern authors are simply bringing back into consciousness from their distant past life experiences. One of the best such preserved memories has been the works of J. R. R. Tolkein.

As we are beginning to find today, it is the ancient myths and modern stories that contain the real history, and what historians consider history is actually a myth of their own making.

While the focus of the Polarians had been on manipulating the physical self, the succeeding World Age of Hyperborea chose instead to control the physical environment around them. And yet, what they discovered by delving into the Alchemical Secrets of Nature was mirrored in their own evolutionary changes. Hyperborea was the Age of Speciation, the Diversity of Humanity into Many Forms.

Modern paleo-anthropologists know some of these forms as Australopithecus, Pithecanthropus, Homo erectus and Homo habilis. Other Hyperborean forms are remembered in world mythologies as Homo aquatica (underwater humanity), Homo arial (winged humanity), Homo subterranea (underground humanity), and Homo pyra (humanity of light)—reflecting the Four Elements of Alchemy (Water, Air, Earth and Fire), with each having had a distinct Era of Dominance within the Hyperborean Age.

Our Ancestors of the far North were allied mainly with the Elemental Kingdom, and their chief Language of Meta-Creation was Transmutational SOUND, reflected in their Philosophical Construct of the SPIRAL and their Vibrational Signature of HARMONICS. One can still hear the old Hyperborean sonic qualities in the music of the Arctic Lapps, the Siberian Tuva overtone singers, central African Pygmy sacred songs, and certain aspects of Tibetan harmonic choir chanting.

The main Source of Power for the Hyperboreans had its origins in the Transmutation of Elements, far in advance of our modern nuclear fission and fusion. Unlike their Polarian predecessors, the Hyperboreans had lost the powers of Manifestation, but developed a potent alternative. Their architecture and building techniques involved taking pre-existing matter, Transmuting it into a desired shape, and moving it into place as a mono-form using inter-dimensional doorways.

Hyperborean structures appear less naturalistic and more utilitarian, and are much less in size compared with those of their Polarian forebears. Examples of Hyperborean architecture will one day be recognized beneath the ice of Greenland, Spitzbergen, Novaya Zemlya, and Ellesmere Island in Arctic Canada.

Eventually, the major focus of endeavor for the Hyperboreans was in attempting to gain control of all Nature outside themselves. This was the Age of Wizards, Magicians, Alchemists and Spellcasters.

The Hyperboreans desired at first only the cooperation of the Elemental Kingdom or the Karmic-Soul Realm of the Earth Mother. But soon they forced many Elemental spirits to bend their wills toward their own selfish purposes and greatly abused the secret transmutative powers of the planet.

For the most part Hyperborean society at first consisted of Tribal Migrations with few recognized boundaries, then later evolved into warring Fortress States. Their growing misuse of Elemental Transmutation as a destructive force eventually turned against them, and they were destroyed by Quake (Earth), Volcanic Eruption (Fire), Mega-Hurricanes (Air), and Tidal Waves and Ice (Water).

Today we still see the Hyperborean obsessions with controlling Nature in such issues as nuclear waste and contamination, industrial pollution, the fouling of the planetary environment, the continued secretive building of mega-weapons, and the beginnings of global warming—all having their source in science exercised without responsibility. These are part of the Unresolved Karmic Patterns left over to us from prehistoric Hyperborea.

The Third World Age, lasting from 1 million to 50,000 B.C.E., was Lmr-Da or Lemuria. During the course of its final existence, Lmr-Da went through three major destructions.

Originally this ancient land stretched across both the Indian and Pacific Oceans, but after the first and second cataclysms the Indian Ocean portion was submerged, leaving the Pacific portion intact, later called Mw.

Most significant remains of old Lemuria are found in eastern Africa, India and on the Indian Ocean floor, while artifacts from Mw are still extant in Peru, Bolivia, Hawaii, Easter Island, Pohnpei and Australia.

In human evolution, this was also the Age of Raciation, of Diversity Within a Single Form. Here is when the modern racial forms of humanity—Mongoloid, Negroid, Caucasian and many others—made their earliest appearance, as well as the extremes in size—from giant Giganthropus and Meganthropus to the miniscule peoples such as Flores Man, now long vanished.

The variations in human skin colors was a reflection of the Lemurian focus on the Meta-Creative Language of COLOR, and their special relationship with the Deva Kingdom.

Concentrating on developing the Emotional Body, the Lemurians chose the Symbolic CIRCLE and INTER-PENETRATING CIRCLES AND SPHERES as their Philosophical Construct, seen today in the teachings of the Flower of Life Sacred Geometry.

RHYTHM, which excites and stimulates the emotions, was the Lemurian Vibrational Signature. It is significant to see how even today rhythm still heavily influences the music in all the lands bordering old Lemuria—in Africa, the Middle East, India, East Asia, throughout the Pacific, and in North and South America.

The Lemurians were dependent on Deep Planetary Energies for their Power Source—what some sources have called the Subterranean Gas Belts—and modern researchers identify as Planetary Core and Mantle Grid-Line Energies. Where such Lines manifested on the Earth's surface, the Lemurians utilized these in their building techniques. They knew the means of molding mega-ton multi-form blocks, then teleporting them into place via the Grid-Line system. In keeping with their Philosophical Construct, most Lemurian architecture was rounded, round or spherical in nature. Examples of Lemurian forms can be seen today in various locations in Peru, India and among the Pacific Islands.

Lemurian history went through several stages of Tribalism progressing into City States, then flowered into Migratory Colonies world-wide. In the end the Lemurians destroyed themselves in their attempt to reach emotional depths through drugs and sexual abuse—the Unresolved Karmic results of which our present world is still suffering from today.

Originally, the focus of attention for the Lemurians was in learning to get in touch with their feelings, enlarging their emotional capacities and developing an appreciation for matters of the heart.

These endeavors were enhanced by the expansion of Humanity's Chakra system from Four to Seven body centers, now incorporating energies from the Red spinal base, the Orange sexual center, the Yellow solar plexus, the Green heart, the Blue throat center, the Indigo third eye, and the Violet crown center. This was the World Mother's Initiation for Humanity into REJUVENATION and REGENERATION.

The early Lemurians likewise tapped into the Astral-Emotional aspects of the planet, having a special connection with the Devic Kingdom, the source of the Life-Chi energies for the biosphere. However, as time progressed the three successive destructions of Lemuria and finally Mw marked a degeneration in Lemurian emotional pursuits as well as their increasing disharmony with the planetary order.

The Lemurians and Mwvians allowed their emotions to overwhelm them until all mental vision was totally submerged in obsessions of feelings.

In their constant search for new emotional states to experience, they abused their relationship with the Devas whose wisdom of plant essences was misdirected to create mind-altering and emotionally stimulating drugs. Love and sexual pleasures were taken to their extremes, the Lemurian-Mwvians falling into self and mutual destructive perversions leading to the creation of new diseases.

In the end the Lemurian-Mwvians became all heart and no head, losing their sense of future vision or hope, dying amid the last cataclysm helpless, totally surrendered to their own despair and fatalism.

In our modern times do we not see a return of many Lemurian unresolved issues in global drug trafficking, pornography, child abuse and nihilistic cultural trends? The ancient Greek story of Pandora's Box has its origins from this remote period, and its consequences are still with us.

The Fourth World Age began in the era between 85,000 and 50,000 B.C.E. and saw the decline and final destruction of Mw concurrent with the rise of the first phase of Atlantis, its dual opposite, located in the Atlantic Ocean. Afterwards, Atlantis likewise suffered three major cataclysms, reducing its center from a continent to three small islands to finally one island in the Azores region of the mid-Atlantic.

This last phase was the Atlantis which the Greek Plato wrote about from Egyptian sources. The three destructions of Atlantis occurred in 50,000, 28,000 and 10,000 B.C.E.

The Atlantean Age was the Age of Mutation, in which the Atlanteans experimented with human genetic manipulation in the attempt to Improve the Single Form.

The Era of Atlantis likewise witnessed the sudden rise and equally sudden disappearances of Neanderthal and Cro-Magnon, and the final prevailing of Homo sapiens sapiens over other human forms, all of which passed into extinction.

Aligned with the Imaginal Kingdom, the Atlanteans deeply studied the Meta-Creative Languages of SYMBOL and SACRED GEOMETRY, reflected in their Philosophical Construct of the Symbolic LINE, ANGLE AND LATTICE. Their basic architecture, characterized by squared and sloped walls, mirrored their Construct very well. The PYRAMID and PYRAMID PLATFORM was one of their original classical forms, later inherited by many ancient cultures the world over, brought to them by surviving Atlanteans.

Always seeking hidden patterns, the Atlantean Vibrational Signature consisted of the MELODY, the arrangement of sounds into definitive patterns having beginnings and endings, in Sequential Repetition. Melodies are still the centerpiece of the musical traditions and song cycles of western Europe, the Mediterranean, West Africa and the eastern Americas—all the lands bordering the lost homeland of Atlantis.

The Atlanteans' Power Source utilized the energy configurations of Crystals coupled with the geometric energy configurations of surface Earth energy linear systems such as leys. Their building techniques involved the maser and laser cutting of multi-ton repeat-form blocks and moving them into place by levitating them along the ley lines.

Examples of Atlantean architecture can still be recognized primarily among prehistoric remains in Egypt, and among certain pre-Megalithic structures in Europe and South America.

The succession of Atlantean civilizations which extended over seventy millennia began as a series of City States, then—with ever increasing tendencies toward Commercialism and Militarism—evolved into a conquering Colonial Empire. Their genetic experiments and their misuse of Crystal Energy was the Atlantean attempt to develop both better warriors and weapons, as well as better workers and consumers.

Unlike their Lemurian forebears, the Atlanteans chose to excel in their mental and intellectual development, creating a most sophisticated and technological civilization.

They learned to communicate with the planetary Imaginal Kingdom, the representatives of the Mental-Psychic Realm of the Earth Mother.

But despite all their advances and resulting accumulated wealth, the Atlanteans also fell into imbalance, only in the opposite extreme to that of the Lemurians. While the Lemurians became all heart and no head, the Atlanteans entered into a state of all head and no heart.

As their technology tried to mechanize Atlantean society, becoming tyrannical and greed-focused as the result, it only reflected the Atlantean nature itself as it turned cold, inhuman, cruel and sadistic.

We can see today the same issues resurfacing, the modern world once again facing excessive commercialism; the mechanization of society; political, military and economic tyranny; and social and spiritual subservience to academic and scientific dogma.

At the peak of its military and commercial power, and at the nadir of their mental self-delusions, the Atlanteans finally succumbed at the end of the last Ice Age. The overuse of their central Great Crystal, and abuse of the Earth's energy systems, led to the final destruction and submergence of Atlantis twelve thousand years ago, making way for the Fifth or Present World Age.

The Present Age has seen two major phases of development. From 10,000 to 3000 B.C.E. there flourished a world-wide Megalithic culture who built such structures as Stonehenge and other gargantuan stoneworks, tapping into the Crystal energy grid of the planet. The builders were mostly right-brained—creative, intuitive, psychic—seeing everything as part of a greater whole. They sought to bring spirit down into matter.

At first they attempted to rebuild the Earth's energy grid systems for peaceful planetary purposes. They inherited much of the Secret Lore of the Atlanteans, but when the energy grid system finally collapsed about 3000 B.C.E. and was later misused—this time by the Builders of Babel—the Old Wisdom was mostly forgotten by the Known Ancient Civilizations who arose thereafter.

A major break in calendar systems around the world appears about 3000 B.C.E. marking the emergence of a series of left-brained cultures focused on logic, reasoning and physical being. They were fragmented and dealt with the reality of the senses. Examples of these cultures were the Greeks and Romans, and now our modern times. We have been attempting to raise matter into spirit.

The predominance of our more recent cultures has also resulted in our present world being divided into the Eastern and Western Hemispheres, mirroring the right and left hemispheres of the global brain.

Looking at where we have come so far, ours appears to be the Age of Homo-genization, the Harmonization and Spiritualization of the Human Form. This is occurring not only on a cultural and social level but also on a karmic level as well, for many of the old souls of Polarians, Hyperboreans, Lemurians and Atlanteans are returning back into incarnation in order to reconcile Unresolved Karmic Issues from the distant past. Ours may also be called the Age of Religions, for at the very heart of all the world's religious practices, both Eastern and Western, is a recapitulation of all past World Ages' belief structures and karmic root problems, bringing them to the surface so they can be finally worked out.

With the Era of the Megalith Builders our humanity sought to join with the Integral Kingdom of the Earth Mother and Earth Father, and though over the last few millennia we have lost that initial connection, we are now actively seeking to renew it.

Our main Meta-Creative Language expression is Universal Art, being the combination and perfect balance of all the other Languages—Essence, Identity, Light, Color, Symbol, Sound, and Sacred Geometry.

In like manner, ART is the Philosophical Construct of our times, for it also combines all the Constructs of the past Ages into one Wholeness—Points, Spirals, Circles, Lines and Angles.

Our Vibrational Signature expresses yet another Wholeness, that of MUSIC and DANCE, fusing together the Tones, Harmonics, Rhythms and Melodies of bygone Ages into a Unified Experience of Body Movement all can relate to together as One Humanity.

Because of so much abuse of various past Power Sources, much has been lost and forgotten, and we are left only with Physical Forms of Energy Generation—water, air, muscle power, steam, electricity and petroleum combustion.

Similarly, our architecture and building techniques have been severely limited to chisel-cutting smaller repeat-form blocks physically moved into place, as well as the use of purely artificial materials such as iron, steel, aluminum and glass.

Yet the promise has been made that, once major karmic patterns are resolved, many of the secrets of the energies and building forms from the past will be returned to us, through the revelations to be discovered in the Halls of Records and Time Capsules left to us from former World Ages.

Over the last twelve millennia we have progressed from Multiple Communities and City States transformed into National States, in turn evolving into competing Superpowers. Now we have entered a new Era of Global Interaction. As a result, Karmic Interaction has also intensified, and an Era of Final Resolution likewise has been inaugurated. All the Karmic Issues from the past eighteen million years, since the beginning of our Soul Influx infusion on Earth, have the potential of being faced and fulfilled.

The fact that so many of the old Polarians, Hyperboreans, Lemurians and Atlanteans have returned en masse into collective reincarnation indicates their willingness to participate in the Resolution Process.

While it is true they have brought back with them all their karmic baggage which plagues the world today—prejudice, racism, genocide, misuse of nuclear energy, toxic waste, chemical pollution, drugs, sexual abuse, uncontrolled genetic experiments, commercialism and militarism—these Ages-old obsessions, addictions and sins against the Earth and humanity are being played out once again for a purpose.

That purpose is to allow the total Collective Soul Self to fully recognize their lethal results, and finally take decisive action in order to bring them to an end completely.

Today our world is divided into two hemispheres—East and West—representing the dual opposing challenges of right-brain and left-brain thinking. What we are now beginning to achieve as we see more and more of a fusion between Eastern and Western ideas is a SYNTHESIS.

On a larger level we are also witnessing the return of the Polarians, Hyperboreans, Lemurians and Atlanteans all at once into incarnation, as they attempt to complete unresolved karmic issues from the past. Each previous dual aspect—Polarian/ Hyperborean and Lemurian/ Atlantean—now has a chance to learn from each other, remembering how one extreme or the other was not the answer, but instead they can together seek a third point of synthesis and blend all their aspects into ONENESS.

Our Present Age has been primarily an Age of Religions, the attempt to define the Spiritual aspects of who we are in some form of framework that eventually will help integrate all parts into the All Self of Humanity. We may already observe how so many of the world's leading religions recapitulate the older prehistoric patterns of the distant and more recent past: the Polarian physical disciplines of Eastern yoga and tai chi; the Hyperborean magical rites exercised through shamanism; the Lemurian ecstatic drug and sexual-death cults, plus ancestor worship; the Atlantean highly structured and often tyrannical religions of the Middle East, including Judaism, Christianity and Islam; to the popular revival of matriarchal Neolithic goddess and patriarchal Classical god religions reflecting the present collective Feminine-Masculine right-left brain harmonization.

It is important to note that the word "religion" is from the Latin religio, which means to reconnect. This is the true purpose for which modern world religions must now address themselves—to find reconnection among all the parts, the roles Humanity has played in the deep forgotten past, and bring them together into a collective expression of Wholeness.

To be sure, there is much yet to be accomplished, and it will not be without a period of confrontation and possible conflict.

In the end, what the outcome will be will depend on how well we can finally achieve true ONENESS together.

Our Present Age is now coming to a close, and will do so hopefully without the self-destruction that has earmarked the transition of so many past World Ages.

Whatever happens, according to metaphysical tradition, we still have two World Ages to go.
