Full Report:

The original name of the Sphinx, as it is given in numerous ancient Egyptian sources, was Hw or Hu. When pronounced as a chant, it was intoned as HHHHUUUU. Hu is the deity who personified “authoritative utterance,” “command,” the “Power of the Tongue of the Creator,” who by Sound brought the Universe into existence. In the Pyramid Texts of Unas, Hu is the consort of the Morning Star, identified with the Cosmic Goddess Sesheta—having a Seven-Pointed Star over her head—and when the Initiate became a Star in the Final Initiation process, they were accompanied into the Heavens by Hu.

In the form of Hyw or Hhw, he is the deity who carries the Celestial Sky, yet in his darker aspect is also regarded as a god of chaos. Hu was likewise one of the three companions of Atum-Ra (another aspect of the Sphinx)—along with Sia (Intelligence; a form of Thoth) and Heka (Magic Power)—who were instrumental in the Creation of the present Universe.

The god of supreme Wisdom, Thoth-Djehutis, was given many titles that bespeak his association with the Hall of Records. He was described as “He Who Has the Power to Open Hidden Gates and Portals, the Dweller in the Library, Appearing in the Hall Bearing the Royal Document, Chief Scribe in the Great Hall, Lord of the Per Ankh, the House of the Books of Life, The All-Knowing One, Dispenser of Every Kind of Strange and Mysterious Gnosis According to the Writings of Thoth Which are in the Library.” Another text states, “Everything in their Shape which the Creator has fashioned, according to that which Thoth has Written concerning their Bodies in the Great Registrar (Plan, Blueprint) which is in the Library.”

A dark form of Djehutis-Thoth was said to be Babi, the aggressive baboon, who “controls the darkness beneath the earth,” but who at the appointed time “opens what is hidden to the sky.” His phallus forms the “bolt to the door,” and he “controls the turbulent waters” as well as “wards off snakes and serpents” in that part of the Duat or Underworld he protects. The secret of dealing with Babi, according to the Book of Dead (Book of Coming Forth into Light), is to “transform the god into Horus”—the more benevolent expression of the Higher Self of the Initiates themselves.

In the Pyramid Texts we find this curious statement: “Go, go to the two halves of the egg, go to Pe, to the Abode of Djehuti (Thoth).”

On one level, the key name refers to “the two halves of heaven,” which may directly relate to the cryptic message to “go to the two halves of the (cosmic) egg” mentioned in the above text. In sacred geometry, drawing a two-dimensional representation of an egg involves using two different foci points. Does this indicate that there is not one but two different possible entrances into the Hall of Records, and that each doorway can be found by circumscribing an egg-shape onto the Giza complex of structures?

That Thoth is associated with the mysterious location can be found in the fact that Pe is also associated with the name of the ibis-headed guardian of the eleventh hour in the Duat. The ibis of course is one of the major symbols for Thoth.

If, as the Pyramid Texts suggests that there are in fact two entrances to the Hall of Records, the possibility exists that the Hall may have a Dark as well as a Light side to it. The ancient sources are replete with warnings of not taking the wrong pathways inside the Hall, or it will lead to death—or worse. Very much associated with the Hall was both the Final Initiation of Transcendence into the Stars, or the Descent into the Duat or the Great Ocean of the Collective Unconsciousness with little chance of escape.

For the Egyptians, there was Maat or the Path of Truth leading to the Transcendence, and Isfet, the Dark Path that involved the negative concepts of selfishness, falsehood and injustice leading to ultimate Separation from the rest of Creation. As Truth was embodied in both the deities Maat and Thoth, so Isfet was personified by the Shadow god Set or Suti—the ultimate deity of death, chaos and destruction—and his most extreme expression, the Great Serpent of the Duat, Apophis.

It is Apophis that Ra does battle with on behalf of the Highest Initiates, and who is eventually cut up into pieces and fertilizes the roots of the Tree of Life, symbolizing the achievement of immortality. Until this is ultimately achieved, Apophis and the Dark aspects still wield influence in the world, drawing the uninitiated into Separation.

Related to all this is a curious legend about Thoth-Djehutis, that he originally emerged out of the head of Set. This is most puzzling, because one does not usually visualize Divine Wisdom coming forth out of the personification of chaos, destruction and death.

However, when we trace this legend back far enough, we find that the earliest form of this story says something slightly different. It states that Thoth emerged out of the “skull of Set.”

This more revealing imagery at first appears to create a predicament, because the “skull” of Set would suggest that this god is dead, and that Thoth came out of it only after he had perished. Yet for the ancient Egyptians—and even in our present-day reality—chaos, destruction and death are very much evident practically everywhere we look, indicating that Set is alive and well. So where did this other “skull of Set” come from?

The only answer that solves the riddle is that the skull belonged to a Set from a previously existing Universe. In that earlier Universe, Set was defeated and slain, with chaos, destruction and death no longer thriving.

Yet that former Universe came to an end at some point, and Thoth—the Divine Wisdom accumulated in the former reality—survived, carried along with the Skull of Set into our reality, where in the beginning of the present Universe Thoth “emerged” once again to inaugurate a New Creation.

It is very significant that the element of iron was regarded as sacred to Set, and the Egyptians specifically identified his skull as being made of iron. Just recently astrophysicists, in calculating what quantities of the various elements would have been created by the Big Bang that started our present Universe, and comparing this with what actually exists throughout the Cosmos, have discovered that there is an excessive amount of iron, far more than there should be.

The only solution as to where this overabundance of iron came from is that it is a carry-over which survived from a previous Universe, one that existed before the Big Bang—the exact same source as the iron skull of Set.

From the earliest times of Predynastic Egypt, the main Temple at Heliopolis, within a few miles from Giza, held in highest reverence what was called the Benben Stone, said to have been a pyramidal-shaped meteorite made of magnetite or iron ore. The High Priests of Heliopolis no doubt regarded this piece of celestial iron as a portion of the skull of Set fallen to Earth, containing within the Divine Wisdom of Thoth which survived from a Universe before our own, and from which Thoth brought forth our present Universe.

At some unknown time in the Early Dynastic period the Benben Stone mysteriously disappeared from the main sanctuary in Heliopolis, hidden away for protection. Will it be found again someday in the Hall of Records, in the Secret Chambers of Thoth himself?

This may be the meaning behind an obscure passage, found in the Hymn of Aten, written by Pharaoh Akhnaten. In it, reference is made to one day finding again “the Hall of the House of the Benben, the Seat of Truth.”

There appears to have been a secret bond between Thoth and Set, for Egyptian literature recounts that at times Thoth ruled in favor of Set over Horus, in the constant war being fought between the two, between social order and chaos. Some priestly sources in fact regarded both Thoth and Set to be malignant deities.

According to highest Egyptian teachings, however, it is Divine Wisdom that regards both chaos and destruction as essential parts of Creation, that allows the old order to be swept away so that a new reality can be given birth. For this reason Thoth was also called the “Lord of Terror”—which mirrors the present Arab appellation for the Sphinx, Abu el Hol, the Father of Terror.

As another reflection of this, the Sphinx itself has its own dark side, found in an obscure name once given to it, Haurun. It originated as the Canaanite appellation for the Earth god, but eventually became used as a curse against the Giza monument. During the Hyksos invasion and occupation of the Nile Valley, a temple called the House of Hauron was constructed directly in front of the Sphinx.

The Egyptians understood the deity to have a dualistic nature—on one hand known as the “victorious protector,” a deity of healing against animal bites, yet also regarded as a god of doom, responsible for planting before the Sphinx a cypress tree or the Tree of Death, the wood of which was used by Set to construct the chest by which he trapped and murdered Osiris. The presence of the temple and tree were meant to serve as a warning to all those who approached the Sphinx, that they were now walking upon dangerous ground.

Second only to Djehutis-Thoth in their association with the Sphinx and the Hall of Records was the goddess Sesheta or Seshat, who was seen as one expression of the all-important Cosmic Mother. The Book of Coming Forth into Light, Chapters 162 and 189, refers to the essence of the hidden wisdom of Seshat as fully contained in the “Book of the Lady of the Hidden House,” the “Book of Very Great Secrets No One is Allowed to See, Recited Only Within the Enclosed Chamber.”

This “Chamber” is called Shetat in her honor, also described as the “Secret House,” the “Chamber of Seshat,” the “Place of the Fulfillment of Secrets.”

The Demotic Mythic Text likewise speaks of “Seshat the Great, Lady of Writing, Great of Magic (Heka), Foremost of the Hidden (Sheta) Library, Who Causes the Annals of Existence to Circulate Throughout the Universe Forever.”

Other texts describe the goddess being the “Lady of Builders, the Enumerator, Lady of Writings, Queen of Scribes, Head of the House of Divine Books, the Celestial Librarian, Foremost in the Chamber of Books.”

Like Thoth, however, there was also a dark side to Seshat reflected in the Sphinx, in the form of the leonine goddess Shesmetet—an aspect also of Sekhmet—who “Holds Magical Powers (Heka) against Demons of Violent Death.”

Certain words that were variations of the goddess’ name were likewise associated with the deepest Mysteries concerning Creation and Destruction. Shetit was another appellation for that part of the Duat which dealt with the Cosmos. Seshet describes both the “energies of solidification (manifestation; or Sheta) and dispersion (Pe-sesh),” while Sheta-ses is the enigmatic location where these take place, the “region that separates formed things from formless ideas (Shetau; thought forms).”

This was connected with the secret place called Restau or Re-Setau, where the High Initiate exclaims, “I have seen the Abyss that is in Restau, the city at the pit of whirling forces.” Here was found Sesh, the “Place of Dispersion at the Mouth (Entrance) to the Hidden Areas” that are located in Restau, “wherein is the Abyss.” Here too is Setau-Khet, the Fire of Solidification, the purifying fire that assists in the process of Formation, through which Spirit passes in order to be Reborn. Also herein is the Seset-Khet, the destroying Fire of Dispersion, the fire that consumes, much like physical fire, that burns away all until formless Spirit remains. What controlled the two Fires was an instrument called the Seseshet, a type of sistrum or rattle whose vibration could be directed for purposes of both manifestation and dissolution.

Another aspect the Sphinx symbolically represented was the god Atum-Ra, the deity of the Setting Sun. It is because of this connection that the Sphinx is directly associated with what has become known as the “Prophecy of Atum.”

The “Prophecy” is found in Chapter 175 of the Theban Recension of the Book of the Dead (Book of Coming Forth into Light) as they are presented in the Papyrus of Ani and the Papyrus of Ra. Both were written in the Nineteenth Dynasty, but are based on older works dating back into unknown antiquity. The composition is traditionally entitled “The Chapter of Not Dying a Second Time.” Unlike so many other Chapters from the Book, it contains no spells, no prayers or magical names, but is a straightforward narrative. It is claimed to be the Words of Atum himself presented through Thoth, spoken in conversation among various deities and which give answers to questions asked by deceased spirits.

The Chapter opens with the query, “What is it that has happened to those who have become like the Children of Nut (another expression of Sesheta, the Cosmic goddess)?” That is, what has happened to those of humanity who have Transcended into the Stars? In the more general sense, What is the ultimate Destiny for humanity, individually and collectively?

“The god Atum decrees, ’You, every one of you, shall ultimately see my face, and you shall no longer suffer from the things which have pained you. Every deity transmits their power to you from their throne of millions of years. Your throne has ascended to be that of Horus, who is Destined to be that of a Holy Prince. His Inheritance is to be the Dweller/ Ruler of the Lake of Fire and the Island of Fire (the Mound of Creation Illuminated, the Source of New Creation). I, Atum have decreed that in me the New Horus shall look into the Lake of Fire and see his likeness, and it shall be my face, the face of your Lord, Atum.’”

The deceased spirit then asks of Atum, “My Lord, what shall the duration of my life (soul existence) be? What length has been decreed for me?”

Atum replies, “It has been granted by those Princes who have come before you that your life (soul existence) shall endure for millions of millions of years, and the period of existence shall be prolonged for millions of years. This I, Atum, have given to you.”

Then Thoth, being the “Tongue of Atum the Great God,” acting on his behalf, says, “I am going to wipe clean everything which has been made. This earth/ universe shall enter back into (be re-absorbed into) the watery abyss of Nu (the Primordial Waters of Creation) by means of a raging flood, and will become again even as it was in Primeval Time. As in the beginning, there will be nothing to be seen except Water.”

Atum adds to this—as recorded in the Coffin Texts—that this will take place when, “Mounds (of Primordial Creation) will become cities, but then cities will be turned back into mounds, and mansion will destroy mansion.”

Thoth, who originally gave the Words of Creation to Atum at the Beginning of the present Cosmos, is also the Keeper of the Words of Completion, which will ultimately bring the present Universe to its End. The text also implies that these words have been used before, to bring other former Universes to their terminations.

The Egyptians recognized that just before the present Creation came into existence, all was reduced to the Darkness of a Limitless Ocean of Chaos and Inertness called Nu, and ruled over by Nun and Nuniet, the Twin Deities of Chaos, and Kek and Keket, the Twin Deities of Darkness.

Only when Atum and Thoth entered into the Waters of Chaos and organized from this Mystic Union the present Creation, did the Universe come into Existence—again.

But Atum and Thoth together predict that the Creative State of the present Universe will not exist forever, and will someday also reach its Omega Point. Yet this will be only a Preparation for Greater Things Yet to Come.

Most significantly, in the “Prophecy of Atum” the hieroglyph word used to describe the coming “raging flood” to end the Earth and the Universe is HuHu. In other more mundane texts, this same word referred to the yearly inundation of the Nile, the annual flooding which brought fertility and regeneration to Egypt’s crops. Thus, on a grander scale, the coming Cosmic Flood is not meant so much as an apocalyptic destruction as it is to be a medium for Universal Renewal.

The all-important link here is that we remember that the original name for the Sphinx was Hu. More specifically, Hu represents the Ancient Wisdom hidden in the Hall of Records guarded over by the Sphinx. This will serve as the Key to unlocking the numerous other Halls which also can potentially be opened.

If Hu is the Secret Wisdom of one Hall, then HuHu epitomizes the collective Secret Wisdom contained in all Halls of Records existing and yet to be found elsewhere in the world. HuHu is described as a “raging flood”—a coming Deluge of Forgotten Wisdom spilling over from many Hidden Sources all at once, that will certainly sweep away most if not all old and outdated modern concepts concerning our Reality, and will forever change the way we think and live. And in the larger sense, it will be this Collective Lost Wisdom now found which will both fulfill and complete the present Creation, bringing It to a close.

It will be through the advent of the HuHu revelations that will transform the old Nu or Waters of Chaos into NuNu, the NEW Waters of Sacred NEW Creation, which will serve as the essence, the basis, the foundation for the Next Universe. This is the HUHU of the NUNU—the Coming Flood of Wisdom-Waters that shall bring about a New Alpha, a New Beginning to Everything.

According to the “Prophecy of Atum,” accompanying the Universal Flood and in its aftermath will occur three major events. First of all, all the gods and goddesses will be absorbed back into Atum. In the beginning of the present Universe—as so many times before—Atum gave birth to all other deities. Now they are to return once again to their Source in Oneness. In the text, Atum predicts, “I shall transform myself into the one Serpent (Primordial Divine Energy) which cannot be comprehended or seen.”

This transformation marks the prophesied second event: “Osiris (the collective soul spirits of the past) shall sail across the flood waters in the Bark of Atum-Khephra to the Island of Fire (the Illuminated Mound of Creation) where Horus, his son (the Higher Self aspect of present collective humanity) will establish his new throne.”

Here, the two—Osiris and Horus—shall fuse into One and transcend to become the Child of Nut/ Neith/ Sesheta—the Cosmic Mother. Thus will the essence of Primordial Cosmic Wisdom be returned from the Beginning. Once again Set will be defeated, and from his iron skull Thoth will re-emerge yet again to bring Divine Wisdom to the New Universe.

Next, in the third prophesied event, the New Osiris-Horus fusion will also be transformed into a Divine Serpent like Atum. It is at this point that the New Humanity shall look into the mirror of the Lake of Fire and see themselves as reflections of each other. In Spell 1130 of the Coffin Texts, Atum reveals, “I and Osiris will be the remainder; then I will come to sit with him in the One Place.“ The Two will then swim together within the Waters of the NuNu in perfect harmony and synchronicity. As Atum prophesies in his text, “We shall be forever unknowable and unseeable by the other (new) gods“ who once again shall be given birth in the Next Universe to come. Like the two wavy lines of the astrological sign of Aquarius, the Twin Serpents shall move together in perfection to explore the infinite length and breadth of the NuNu, to bring about the New Creation.

Amid all these events, Thoth shall re-emerge yet again, unchanged as the Eternal Word, with no beginning and no end, always ready to bring the Next Cycle of Existence into being. Together with the Two Divine Serpents, and the Cosmic Mother embodied in Sesheta, he shall work with them within the NuNu Waters and within the Island of Fire-—the Illuminated Mound from which will emerge the Next Creation—to inaugurate the genesis of a New Universe.

Also, HUHU + NUNU = HNNU or the Hennu Boat, the New Bark, the Vehicle or Universal Matrix upon which Atum-Khephra as the Sun of the New Dawn and the Deity of New Regeneration, shall—like so many other times in the pre-existing past—once again travel through the Primordial Waters and release the Blueprints for a Sacred New Cosmos.

This, too, is expressed in a final complementary form of the Union of HUHU-NUNU as NHH, which means “to help preserve a continually renewing eternity.”

Herein is the ultimate purpose of the Sphinx and the Hall of Records.

Report Update—Could an Iron Ion Memory Core Have Survived From a Previous Universe?

Today’s computer memory cards hold anywhere from 10 to 100 gigabits per square inch, and because of the constant deterioration of the component materials used, will last only between 10 and 30 years.

However, theoretical electrical engineers have envisioned and are experimenting with the first prototypes of a revolutionary new memory device based on iron ions that travel between two electrical contact points inside myriads of nanotubes composed of fullerene carbon or C-64. A self-contained and self-sustaining applied voltage could shuttle the ions between the contact points, creating the basis for information storage and retrieval that would have a capacity and durability on a vaster scale better than what computers offer right now.

Preliminary calculations suggest the iron-ion carbon-nanotube system could hold one trillion bits per square inch, and remain thermodynamically stable for at least a billion years. Projected radical design changes to the fundamental geometric configuration of the nanotubes would further improve the charge duration even longer, to a possible 10 to 20 billion years—which happens to be longer than the existence of the present Universe.

As we noted in the Report, fragments of primordial Iron may have survived from a Universe that existed prior to our own. The ancient Egyptians regarded Iron as composing the “skull of Set” which gave birth to the “wisdom of Thoth” that was left over from a previous Reality. A piece of that celestial Iron in the form of a meteorite fell to Earth long ago, and the early priests of Heliopolis memorialized it as the Benben Stone, the source they claimed of unspeakable knowledge which they later purposely hid away.

What if that fallen Iron chunk contained something like an iron-ion carbon-nanotube memory core or its equivalent—a primeval “Hall of Records” of Thoth that had managed to survive unscathed for billions of years? Was it the last remnant of a time-capsule left from another Universe pre-existent to the one we live in today? And where is this memory core still buried? What unimaginable information could be yet gleaned from it once it is found again and tapped into?
